Lampists is built for owners who keep control of the property, project, vendors, or rental business while needing local eyes, owner-side documentation, and authorized response when they are not nearby.
Common owner questions.
Are you a property manager?
No. Lampists provides owner-side property intelligence, stewardship, documentation, and owner-authorized field verification. We do not collect rent, hold deposits, manage listings, set rates, negotiate bookings, place guests, or run the property.
Do you manage the project team or the work?
No. Lampists can document visible site conditions and coordinate owner-approved next steps, but we do not supervise the project team, certify work, approve quality, or provide code-compliance opinions.
Does Lampists use cameras?
Lampists is designed around privacy-first, cameraless property sensing. We focus on conditions such as water, moisture, climate, power, equipment, and authorized access rather than interior video surveillance.
Is Lampists a security or alarm company?
No. Lampists does not provide burglar-alarm monitoring, fire-alarm monitoring, security patrol, or police and fire dispatch. Those services remain separate. Lampists focuses on property intelligence, field verification, licensed repair coordination, and a documented response record through completion.
Can owners review additional property-level signals?
Sensing availability depends on final device configuration and property fit. Additional property-level insights may appear in owner reports. Lampists does not use those signals as enforcement judgments.
What happens when the system detects an unusual condition?
Lampists helps determine what the information means, communicates the recommended next step, and can provide owner-authorized field verification. When repair is required, we coordinate the appropriate licensed professional and document the work through completion.
Who installs the system and performs repairs?
When licensed work is included, it is separately scoped and performed by Construction Solution Corp, CSLB #1071818, or another appropriately licensed contractor. The founding team includes California general-contracting leadership and multistate low-voltage systems expertise.
Why not ask a neighbor?
A helpful neighbor can notice something. Lampists provides a repeatable operating record: what changed, what was photographed, what the owner authorized, who handled the work and what completion evidence was filed.
What Lampists does not do.
Lampists is not a property manager, licensed real estate brokerage, legal service, insurance service, home inspection, appraisal, or government service.
Lampists does not provide burglar-alarm monitoring, fire-alarm monitoring, camera surveillance, private-security patrol, or police and fire dispatch. Licensed installation, construction, and repair work is performed through affiliated contractor operations.
